Welcome to Masterpiece Systems Limited. These General Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, purchase of products, and engagement with our services. Please read them carefully.

🔄 1. Return & Refund Policy

  • Eligibility: Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery or purchase (Kenya only).
  • Condition: Items must be unused, in original packaging, and include all accessories.
  • Return Methods: Returns can be made in-store or via courier. Customers cover return shipping unless the item is defective.
  • Refunds: Processed within 1–7 business days to the original payment method.
  • Restocking Fee: A 15% fee applies on non-defective returns (e.g., change of mind).
  • Non-returnable Items: Software, licenses, custom orders, or products that are used, damaged, or incomplete.

🚚 2. Shipping & Delivery Terms

  • Delivery Fee: Flat rate of KES 500 for standard deliveries; fees may vary based on order size, weight, or destination.
  • Delivery Timeframe: Estimated 1–3 business days.
  • Same-Day Shipping: Available for orders placed before 3:00 PM (EAT), subject to availability.
  • Delays: Delivery times are estimates. Delays caused by unforeseen events (weather, stock issues) are not grounds for order cancellation.
  • Third-Party Couriers: If you use your own courier, Masterpiece is not liable for loss or damage once goods leave our premises.
  • Inspection: Report any delivery issues within 2 business days.
  • Evaluation Goods: Must be returned within 7 working days or will be considered sold.

💳 3. Payment Information

  • Accepted Methods:
    • Cash on Delivery (COD): Only within Nairobi for orders ≤ KES 10,000.
    • MPESA: Paybill 880100, Account 544517.
    • Bank Transfer/EFT: Payment proof required before dispatch.
  • Advance Payment: Required for orders outside Nairobi and for orders above KES 500,000 (inclusive of VAT).
  • Late Payments: Late or dishonored payments may lead to service suspension or legal action.

🔒 4. Privacy Policy Summary

  • Data Collected: Personal info (name, contact details, addresses) and usage data (IP address, browser info).
  • Use of Data: To process orders, provide support, send marketing communications (optional), and comply with legal obligations.
  • Security: We implement reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee 100% security.
  • Your Rights: You may access, update, or request deletion of your personal data and opt out of marketing communications.
  • Data Sharing: Shared only with trusted service providers or legal authorities as required.

🛠️ 5. Warranty Policy

  • Coverage: Warranty is provided only by the manufacturer. Masterpiece offers no additional warranty.
  • Claims: Require original tax invoice and all original packaging/accessories.
  • Exclusions: Warranty void if product is misused, damaged, repaired by unauthorized technicians, seals tampered with, or damaged by power surges (unless agreed).
  • Processing Time: Repairs or replacements may take up to 12 weeks depending on the manufacturer.
  • Advanced Swap: Available selectively; clients pay full price if the returned item is fault-free.
  • Refurbished Products: Limited warranty and may have cosmetic imperfections.

🚫 6. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity

  • Masterpiece Systems Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including business interruption or lost profits.
  • Clients agree to indemnify Masterpiece and its affiliates from any third-party claims related to product defects or failures.
